Waco police are searching for an older model blue truck-tractor that sideswiped a 2008 Mercury 4-door sedan yesterday, then left the scene.
The driver of the car, a 30 year old woman, was injured and had to be rushed to the hospital.

The driver had a commercial license, knew that he was required by law to stop and render aid, and left the scene. It reminds me of a case I handled years ago when a young man was helping friends change a flat tire on the inside shoulder of I-35 in Fort Worth, was hit by a passing 18 wheeler, and unfortunately died the next day.
